On April 7, 2018, a meeting was held with the Honored Worker of Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan the chairman of the Eurasian Tourist Association Karabaeva Rista Kalievna in the 302 audience of the main building of the Eurasian National University named after LN. Gumilev. The meeting was held within the framework of tourism issues between Kazakhstan and China. The meeting was attended by teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and the teacher of the department was Duisenkozha Ermek.
During the meeting Rista Kalyukis spoke about the problems of cooperation in the sphere of tourism of Kazakhstan and China, the development of domestic tourism and the need for specialists in this field. Participants actively participated in the meeting and asked interesting questions.
At the end of the meeting, the Eurasian Tourism Association and the Department of Oriental Studies agreed to conduct practical training for students.
