Continuation of foreign research internship of IR and JPS faculties L.N.Gumilyov ENU PhD students

PhD students of specialties “6D020200 - International Relations” Alkevev A.K, “6D050200-Political Science” Dosmakhambetuly G., “6D050500-Regional Studies” Mustafayev B.Zh. and M. Kairgaliyev continue to undertake a foreign research internship in Turkey.

During scientific internships, doctoral students visit university libraries, collecting and analyzing materials for writing doctoral theses and working on writing articles for publication in journals with highly indexed citations.

In addition, the active cooperation of our Phd students with a foreign scientific consultant is conducted by the Director of the Center for Internationalization and Image of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, PhD, Professor of Yildirim Beyazit University, Seyit Ali Avcu, who advises students on the search and understanding of foreign sources and materials, as well as new approaches to further research.

It is noteworthy that during the internship, doctoral students, with the direct support of Professor Seyit Ali Avcu, continue to establish a dialogue with the leaders of the largest universities and research centers in Turkey, in order to bring together and establish educational and cultural ties with L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

Thus, during the internship, the PhD students, together with Professor Seyit Ali Avcu, met with the Rector of the Ankara University of Sciences ASBÜ Mr. Mehmet Bargey.

The Rector said that the University of Social Sciences - ASBÜ, being a multilingual and multicultural center and having one of the most extensive libraries in the country, is a leader in the development of social science education in Turkey.

This state university is primarily focused on providing all kinds of conditions for conducting highly scientific research at the postgraduate and doctoral levels.

Mehmed Bardja recognizes the importance of international cooperation in the field of science and education and emphasizes that the leadership of ASBÜ attaches particular importance to the development of scientific cooperation with Kazakhstani universities, in particular with the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in all possible directions.

Obviously, these initiatives open to students, young scientists and faculty of universities in the acquisition of extensive knowledge in various fields of science.

At the same time, meetings with the Director of the Institute of the Turkic World, Department of International Relations, Faculty of Political Science, Professor Mariyam Hakim were interesting and productive for doctoral students.

Dr. M.Hakim devotes time to each of the doctoral students and shares valuable experience in conducting research, introduces PhD students with the techniques and rules for writing scientific papers in Turkey and provides assistance in finding sources and materials for writing a dissertation.

For Reference: Ankara University of Social Sciences, founded in 2013 as a state university, is located in the center of the capital and occupies an important place in the historical, cultural and commercial life of Turkey. The university is a specialized institution of higher education in the field of social sciences.

The ASBU University strategy focuses on the active functioning of research institutes and centers. Currently, ASBU has eight research centers and five faculties, including Faculty of Social and Human Sciences and Faculty of Political Science.
