The Event «Independence is the Foundation» Held at the Faculty of International Relations

The students’ volunteer club "Spiritual Development" under the Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of International Relations, held an online educational event "Independence is the Foundation" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 30, 2021.

Independence is our main value.  This year is the 30th anniversary of our Independence.  This is an important milestone in the strengthening of the revived Kazakh state, the freedom that our ancestors have longed for centuries.  Historically, thirty years is not a long time.  However, in a short period of time, our people have become equal to the world’s giants and well-known to the international community.  During this period, the Kazakh nation proved its strength and ability to independently determine the direction of political and economic development.

 The event organized by A.Kadyskyzy and D.O.Saliyeva,  the senior lecturers of the Faculty of International Relations.  Group IR-11 of the Faculty of International Relations and group KJ-11/13 of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science took part in this educational event.

The purpose of this event is to direct and motivate young people, to enhance their patriotism, love for their homeland, to teach them to respect the history of their country.

 A.Kadyskyzy delivered an opening speech and the event was moderated by Rashid Kemelbek, a student from KJ-13 group.  At first, he told about the country's independence and achievements, and then Diana Erkebay, a first-year student of IR-11 group, recited the poem "Independence" written by the poet Kalkaman Sarin. Akmaral Zharbosinova, a first-year student of KJ-13 group from Mongolia, expressed her congratulations and warm words.

Then a game "Question and Answer" was played among the students.  According to the rules, the students were asked 5 questions.  They answered all questions immediately and correctly.  The students of KJ-13 also presented their newspaper "ASHYQ" dedicated to the "30th anniversary of Independence".  The students studying at our university can publish their works in this newspaper.  At the end of the event, Kemelbek Rashid cited his poem "My grandfather's legacy" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence.

A. Kadyskyzy and D.O.  Saliyeva, the senior lecturers of the Faculty of International Relations, summed up the event and expressed their warm congratulations to the students.   Many opinions and ideas were expressed during the online educational event held on the MS Teams platform, and the event explained to all of us that the Independence is very precious.
