On April 19-21, 2023 in Almaty on the basis of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Faculty of Oriental Studies held the Republican subject Olympiad on the educational program "6B02209 – Oriental Studies", "6B02207-Oriental Studies".
Students of 2-3-4 courses studying under the educational program "6B02209-Oriental Studies" at the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, taking part, won prizes. 3-rd year students of our University Faculty of International Relations, Department of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies Zhakina Gulnaz took 2nd place; Dalabaeva Erke took 3rd place. The head-teacher of the Chinese language of the Department of Oriental Studies, PhD, acting associate Professor G.U. Birimkulova, 3rd year students of the Department of Arabic Studies Darhanuly Ali took 2nd place and Zulfaidar Muhammad took 3rd place. Head-teacher of the Arabic language of the Department of Oriental Studies, Ph.D., Acting Professor Ilyasova Z.S. 3rd year student of the Department of Japanese Studies Sadyk Meruert took 2nd place. The head-teacher of the Japanese language of the Department of Oriental Studies, Master Sudyeva N.B., a 3rd-year student of the Department of Korean Studies, Dusupova Tais, was presented with a letter of thanks.
