February 10, 2022 Senior Teacher of the Department of International Relations of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Chaukerova Anara Nagimetovna held an information and familiarization meeting with the graduating classes of school No. 79 of the city of Nur-Sultan for admission to the bachelor's degree program "International Relations", and also awarded the 10th grade student Darya Zueva, who took 3rd place in an online essay competition on the topic: “How I see Kazakhstan on the world stage.”
The prof orientation meeting was aimed at attracting applicants for admission to the EP "International Relations", explaining the basic requirements for admission and opportunities during the period of study. Chaukerova A.N. acquainted high school students with the main disciplines of the EP "International Relations", with places of industrial practice and employment, with the possibilities of studying at the military department. Moreover, Chaukerova A.N. spoke about the benefits of studying at the EP "International Relations", including the study of Western and Eastern languages, the possibility of studying abroad as part of academic mobility, attending lectures from leading foreign professors, as well as active participation in the student life of the university.
During a career guidance meeting, with the participation of the director of school No. 79 Mukusheva Kuralay Balgabaevna, a teacher in the history of Kazakhstan Kasymova Akmaral Socialovna, Chaukerova A.N. awarded the winner of the online essay contest on the topic “How I see Kazakhstan on the world stage” Zueva Darya. The online essay contest was held by the Department of International Relations in order to inspire students to reveal their creativity, promote the development of intellectual potential, form patriotic consciousness, and attract the interest of young people to the processes taking place in the international arena. Online awarding of the winners of the competition was held on January 28, 2022 on the Zoom platform.
Additionally, Chaukerova A.N. acquainted pupils with the rules of the Admissions Committee, the procedure for submitting documents and the basic requirements for admission to the university. At the end of the meeting Chaukerova A.N. distributed booklets among students and offered to get acquainted with the official website https://fmo.enu.kz, as well as pages on social networks Facebook and Instagram.
Thanks to the introductory online meeting, students received complete information regarding admission to the bachelor's degree program "International Relations". At the end of the event, the students were able to ask their questions.
