“Ruhani Zhangyru - Spiritual Development” volunteer club keeps functioning

The members of the volunteer club “Ruhani Zhangyru - Spiritual Development” at the Foreign Languages Department of the International Relations Faculty took part in an event, dedicated to the 125th birth anniversary of Saken Seifullin, Beimbet Maylin and Ilyas Zhansugurov.

The M. Gorky Russian drama theater presented a musical-poetic composition called “Крылатая исповедь вольных сердец”, dedicated to the great sons of Kazakh nation.

The performance was staged as a part of the action plan under the state programme “Ruhani Zhangyru”. The authors of the theatrical composition and scriptwriters Bekpulat Parmanov and Lyudmila Kryuchkova showed spirit and freedom of thought of the bright representatives of Kazakh Literature, who became a role model of serving and self-sacrifice for the sake of Kazakh culture and literature, despite their unfair fate. The main idea of the play was to show and demonstrate the power of our poets’ works inspired by love to life, the homeland and freedom.

Poets, writers, publicists of the twentieth century – Saken Seifullin, Beimbet Maylin, Ilyas Zhansugurov are the outstanding sons of Kazakh people, united by one era and one fate. 1854 is a year of birth of the great Kazakh poets and public figures. They were born in a difficult and critical period, along with a generation of remarkable writers and fighters who made a splendid contribution to the national liberation of our people.

During the performance, we proudly watched and listened to the works of these great literary figures of our country.
