PhD, senior lecturer of the APK Department Zhuldyzay Iskakova spoke at a meeting of the Club of Young Experts at the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On September 21, the sixth meeting of the Club of Young Experts at the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held with the participation of Chairman of the Chamber Maulen Ashimbayev and Minister of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva. The issues of civil society development, the state and prospects of the media sphere in Kazakhstan were discussed at the meeting.

Zhuldyzay Iskakova's speech was devoted to the dynamics of public trust in political institutions in Kazakhstan. The expert noted the gap in the level of public confidence in the central and local authorities in Kazakhstan. Also, one of the reasons for public distrust of the authorities is the low level of quality of decisions made. In this regard, one of the directions that will help change the situation is the transition to the principles of evidence-based policy in public administration, the expert believes.

The meeting was also attended by: Muslim Khasenov, PhD in Law, head of the Center for Labor and Social Law, Assistant Professor at the University of KAZGUU named after M. S. Narikbayev; Nazim Zhangazinova, specialist in PR communications, founder of the communication agency Z Agency; Gaziz Abishev, political commentator, editor-in-chief of the information and analytical portal Turan Times; Nikita Shatalov, expert of the Institute for Eurasian Integration; Aigerim Yesenalieva, journalist.

Following the discussion, the Chairman of the Senate supported the idea of creating a School of Analytics for young professionals. Students of the School will be trained in applied skills, writing analytical texts, methodology of analytical research and working with databases.
