Today, April 8, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A.K. Kushkumbaev held a scientific seminar for the teaching staff and doctoral students of the Department of Regional Studies on the topic: "The Golden Horde in the Kazakh historiography of the twentieth century", dedicated to the decade of science.
The following aspects were highlighted: issues of interpretation of the period of the Golden Horde in the works of various researchers, disputes about the genesis of the Kazakh Khanate, problems of studying the history of the Golden Horde in the Soviet period and today. The report aroused active interest and discussion.
