On the eve of May 1 – the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of International Relations of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Anna M. Yessengalieva organized an educational event “Holiday of Unity”.
The event was attended by the dean of the faculty M.M. Kosybaev, deputy deans, heads of departments, teachers and first-year students of the educational programs “International Relations”, “Regional Studies”, “Oriental Studies”, “Turkology”.
First-year student Asem Balgozhina performed the Japanese song “Sakura”, Sabina Smagulova and Aruzhan Tulegenova performed the song “Peace comes to you” in Korean. During the event, the FIR students played the dombra, the students from Kyrgyzstan studying under the academic mobility program sang a song about kobyz, and a first-year student Moldir Sailau performed a Kazakh dance.
Summing up the event, the Dean of the faculty pointed out the importance of celebrating the friendship holiday and expressed special gratitude to the participants.
