On June 17, 2021, the online summer school of the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of International Relations began its work on the topic “New approaches to the study of regional security in Central Asia”. At the opening of the summer school, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the L.N. Gumilev ENU Ongarbaev Erkin Anuarovich made a welcoming speech.
Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Miras Makhmedunovich Kossybayev and Head of the Department of International Relations Akhmedyanova Dana Kabidullayevna thanked the speakers and wished fruitful work to all participants.
On the first day of the summer school, Professor of the Kazakh-German University Burnashev Rustam Renatovich, Professor of the University of San Pablo (Spain) Antonio Alonso Marcos, Associate Professor of Erzincan University Binali Yildirim (Turkey) Nogaeva Ainur Mukhanbetiyarovna made lectures and presentations. The listeners showed great interest in the topics of the lecturers’, took an active part in the discussion, had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to experts in the field of international security.
