On April 5th 2018, the Faculty of International Relations has held an annual cultural event “Spring of the Orient”.

The students and faculty members of the Department of Oriental Studies and Turkology performed on various features of Arabic, Turkish, Persian, Hindi, Chinese, Korean and Japanese cultures and congratulated everyone on the occasion of Nauryz and the arrival of Oriental Spring. The Ambassador of Palestine Muntaser Abu Zeid, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Said Bin Mohammad Al-Barami, and diplomatic representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, India, Pakistan, China, South Korea and Japan have attended this event. Moreover, the locals of Astana, school children and the representatives of mass media in Kazakhstan have been present at the cultural event
