On December 10, 2020, at the Department of Turkology of the Faculty of International Relations, a round table dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev "ABAY AND THE TURKIC WORLD" was held.
Young scientists from Turkey and Armenia, teachers of the Department of Turkology, doctoral students and undergraduates took part in the round table.
Special guests of the round table - Professor of the Department of Turkology Shakir Ibraev with a report «Abaydin shygarmashylykyndagy society», Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Tokat University Gaziosmanpasha, PhD Erzhan Petek with a report «Abay Kara Sözleri'nin el yazması hakkında», Chief Researcher of the Center of Turkology named after Nemat Kelimbetov at KazNPU PhD Marlen Adilov with a report with the report «Abai Qara sozdernin qolzhazbasy turaly», PhD of Yerevan State University Shushan Khachatryan with the report «Study of the heritage of Abai Kunanbayev in Armenia»
In conclusion, Shakir Ibraev noted that society does not pay attention to the ideas of humanism, eternal human values. The scientist urged to listen to the thoughts of Abai, find solutions to pressing issues, study and deepen.
