On April 26, 2018 the teacher of the Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of International Relations KadyskyzyAigul organized a visit to the Saken Seifullin Museum for the students of the 1st and 2nd year.
This was a planned educational event, the purpose of which is to develop spiritual culture, respect for national values, patriotism and respect for the history and culture of the motherland.
The museum of S.Seyfullin, opened in Astana in 1988, is a historical monument dedicated to the great writer, poet and publicist, public and state figure. It is located in a building that is a real architectural monument, built in the second half of the 19th century.
During the excursion the students got acquainted with the museum's extensive fund consisting of more than 5,000 items, including unique photos, books, documents, photocopies of archival documents, newspaper clippings, personal belongings that once belonged to Saken and members his family.
In addition, there are works of art such as sculptures and paintings that are devoted to the creativity and life of the writer and give visitors the opportunity to touch not only the life story of S.Seifullin himself, but also to an entire era in the history of the Kazakh people.
