On February 9, 2022, the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan within the framework of the discipline "Politics of historical Memory" of the master's program "Ethnopolitology" held a guest seminar on the topic: "ALASH - new contexts in education and research".
The total number of participants in online and offline format is about 50 people.
The speakers of the seminar were well-known scientists and experts in the field of Alash studies: Dikhan Kamzabekuly, Vice-rector of the University; Sultankhan Zhusip, Director of the Alash Research Institute; Professor of the APK Department Zhaksylyk Sabitov.
The interest of research teachers and undergraduates was aroused by the research of speakers, the results of projects on the modern reading of Alash's ideas.
The undergraduates expressed their attitude to the figures of Alash with a projection on the modern agenda.
Summing up the results of the guest seminar, Dean of the Faculty of international relations Miras Kosybaev, moderators of the meeting Natalia Kalashnikova & Bibigul Bulegenova stressed the relevance of further study of the topic.
