On February 25, "Open Door Day" for graduates of 2023 was held at L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University. High school students from Akmola, Karaganda regions participated in the open door day. The specialty of oriental studies allows to learn the history, culture, politics, literature, and language of eastern states in depth. In addition, graduates of Oriental studies can work in diplomatic relations, international economic relations, international information and expert services, state and local administration, national security and defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, science and education, culture and ideology. Students can participate in celebrating national holidays of their country of study, round tables and cultural evenings, events organized by embassies and cultural centers of China, Japan, Korea, Iran and Arab countries in Kazakhstan, and international competitions that determine language level.
