«Eurasians» at the II Almaty International forum of rapprochement of cultures of Eurasia

Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Oriental Studies S.A. Tuleubaeva as an honored guest took part in the II Almaty International Forum for the Rapprochement of Cultures of Eurasia on the topic "Enlightened Islam and the Renaissance: from Farab, Baghdad and Cordoba through European monasteries to a culture of knowledge", which took place in Almaty October 17, 2019.

S.A. Tuleubaeva, who single-handedly represented our university at this event, made a presentation on the topic “Arab-Muslim civilization as a link in the continuity of knowledge between the West and the East” at the section “Culture of knowledge - a source of peace and sustainable development”.

The chairman of the organizing committee, director of the International Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures under the auspices of UNESCO under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan O. O. Suleimenov.

The forum was attended by representatives of the scientific and academic circles of Azerbaijan, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and France.

 

 

  Problems considered at the forum are part of S.A. Tuleubaeva, who is a specialist in the field of oriental studies, Arab studies and Muslim media studies. In 2010, she defended her thesis on "Stratification of the linguistic identity of al-Farabi in the comparative historical paradigm."
