The meeting of the State Commission for the Full Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression was chaired by State Councilor Erlan Karin in offline and online format.
The head of the Department of the APK, Professor Natalia Kalashnikova took part in the meeting in person, where the main results of the Commission's activities for 2022 were considered.
One of the key results of the Commission's work was the preparation of 31 volumes of collections of materials and documents devoted to the history of political repression.
The Prosecutor General's Office declassified more than 2 million documents as part of the Commission's work. 800 thousand cases have been declassified and accepted for storage and processing by the Archive of the President.
At the meeting, gratitude was also expressed to the members of the regional commissions, most of which also represented scientists of the APK departments.
