Welcome to the website of the Faculty of International Relations of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
We are once again recognized as the best in higher education. According to the ratings of the Independent agency for accreditation and rating, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University became a leader in the training of highly qualified specialists among Kazakhstani universities, particularly, our educational programmes in Regional studies and Turkology took the 1st place in Kazakhstan in all three layers of higher education, the "International Relations" and "Oriental Studies" educational programmes took the 1st place in undergraduate and the 2nd place in postgraduate degrees.
The faculty is proud that today it is recognized as a "National school" for training competitive specialists in the field of international relations: international experts, regional specialists, orientalists and turkologists. Our alumni are expert analysts with comprehensive knowledge, interdisciplinary and professional competencies. Today they are in high demand and employed in governmental and non-governmental organizations, specialized in the international relations, foreign policy and intergovernmental relations: the Embassies of foreign countries in the Republic of Kazakhstan, diplomatic, cultural and trade missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad, foreign affairs agencies, international organizations, multinational companies, cultural centers of foreign countries and analytical centers.
Over the years of its existence, our faculty has managed to become a place of attraction for talented youth not only from Kazakhstan, but also from a number of near and far-abroad countries. Our students enjoy the opportunity to get quality education at the world standards from leading Kazakhstani and foreign professors and practitioners. The existing relations with foreign partners allow training under the double diploma and academic mobility programmes, thereby providing an invaluable opportunity for our alumni to smoothly adapt to the modern realities.
