On January 9, 2023, the presentation of the collection of documents "Akmola region - in archival documents (20-40 years)" took place in the conference hall of the House of Friendship in Astana. XX century.)". It was attended by representatives of the official and unofficial intelligentsia. The collection of documents consists of three chapters": "Transformation of the traditional Kazakh society", "Forced collectivization and collapse of the traditional Kazakh economy", "Mass political repression". The collection includes 248 documents. The collection is considered to be the result of two years of work by the regional commission for the rehabilitation of victims of political repression. The compilers of the collection are Professor of the Department of Regional Studies K. G. Darkenov and Associate Professor of the Department of Oriental Studies of the Faculty of International Relations K. M. Ilyasova. During the presentation, the compilers were awarded letters of thanks from the Akimat and the project office of the State Commission for the Complete Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression. The materials of the collection, which contains archival documents defining the anti-Soviet struggle of peoples against the political campaigns of the Soviet period, can be found in the National Academic Library and the State Archive of Astana.
