Spanish teachers of ENU Alvaro Marcos Marcos and Maria Paola Gonzalez Sepulveda released a tribute video in memory of the famous poet Justo Jorge Padron

On April 11, on the anniversary of the death of the famous Spanish poet Justo Jorge Padron, Spanish teachers of ENU Alvaro Marcos Marcos and Maria Paola Gonzalez Sepulveda released a tribute video in memory of the poet. Students of the Faculty of International Relations read poems from the collection "Circles of Hell" in Spanish with Kazakh subtitles.

Justo Jorge Padron is the first Spanish poet whose works were translated into Kazakh. In 2015, he visited L.N. Gumilyov ENU with the presentation of his collection Circulos de infierno (“Tozak Shenberleri”).

Justo Jorge Padron is recognized as one of the most significant poets in Spain, as well as the owner of the largest number of awards.

His book "Circles of Hell" was recognized as the most important book of poetry for 1973-1977. Having been translated into more than thirty languages, the Spanish-Kazakh bilingual edition of Circles of Hell is the first Spanish book of poetry translated into Kazakh. The translation was carried out by the Kazakh poetess Tanakoz Tolkynkyzy.

April 11, 2021 Justo Jorge Padron died from the consequences of the Covid-19.
