On February 16, 2023, the teacher of the Foreign Languages Department of the International Relations Faculty, Alvaro Marcos, gave an open lesson on the topic "El Camino de Santiago". The lesson took place on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The purpose of the lesson was to improve the skills of students in listening and speaking on this topic and the formation of grammatical skills in the use of auxiliary verbs "ser" and "estar".
The lesson was held at a high methodological level using modern educational technologies. The teacher prepared a whole range of various exercises that contributed to the successful consolidation of listening and speaking skills among students on the topic "El Camino de Santiago".
Audio and video materials were also used, as well as test tasks for understanding the videos. The grammatical material was presented in an accessible and interesting way, which allowed students to learn complex grammatical structures and then use them in oral speech.
Students demonstrated a high level of Spanish proficiency, which is undoubtedly the result of the teacher's daily, painstaking work.
Alvaro Marcos Marcos has been working at the Department of Foreign Languages for more than a year and, thanks to his contribution to the study of the Spanish language, interest in the language among students is constantly growing.
