From 14 to 15 December N.G. Shaimerdinova, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Turkology, took part in the International Scientific Conference "Azerbaijani Oriental Studies in the Context of East-West Scientific-Cultural and Socio-Political Dialogue", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Baku State University (the first and oldest university Azerbaijan). Participation in the advanced study of Oriental studies, Turkology of East and West.
Professor N.G. Shaimerdinova took an active part in the discussions of the conferences, made a presentation on the topic: "The picture of the world of the ancient Turks in the texts of runic monuments." In addition, she presented the journal “Turkiс Studies Journal”.
On December 15, N.G. Shaimerdinova spoke at the round table: “Turkic Countries on the Great Silk Road as the bridge between East and West”, organized by the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, co-organizer of the forum. As a result of the forum, Professor N.G. Shaimerdinova was awarded a valuable gift with the image of Abay for the best representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the forum.
