Master students of the Department of Regional Studies presented research projects in Bishkek

On October 28, 2022, an international youth scientific conference entitled "Greater Eurasian Partnership: Youth Dimension of Integration Processes" was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

Organizers are the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, expert club "Siberia-Eurasia", Tomsk State University and Eurasian National University.

The event was opened with congratulatory words by c.h.s., Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations and Law of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ainur Jorobekova, c.h.s., associate professor, head of the department of world politics of Tomsk State University Sergey Yun, c.h.s., associate professor of world politics of Tomsk State University Sergey Miroshnikov, PhD, professor, head of the department of regional studies of the Eurasian National University Aigerim Ospanova, The first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic Kazybek Zhusipahmetov, the attaché for education and science of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic Robert Fedorov.

During the conference, three expert sessions were held, where young students, masters and doctoral students of three universities presented their research projects.  Experts and conference participants discussed the results of the works and expressed their opinions about the role of youth in the activities of organizations such as the EU, ASEAN, EAEU, TURKSOY, CSTO, SCO, MERCOSUR, LAG, NAFTA and APEC.

Aidana Janyssova and Shalina Aizere, second-year graduate students of the Department of Regional Studies of the Eurasian National University, presented their research projects on the topics "The role of youth in the service of the EAEU" and "The role of youth in the service of the Organization of Turkic States".
