On April 12, 2022, the Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of International Relations, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University was a part of the XVII International Scientific Conference "GYLYM JANE BILIM-2022" (Science and Education-2022).
The young scholars and students demonstrated the results of their research in Kazakh, English and Russian in the subsection "Foreign language in the context of intercultural dialogue" held online at Microsoft Teams. All the participants delivered presentations of their research, which arouse keen interest and exchange of views, both among the participants and the lecturers of the department.
The commission included the chairperson - the head of the department, PhD Meirambekova L.K., the commission members, candidate of pedagogical science, professor Yessengaliyeva A.M., associate professor, candidate of philological science Beissembayeva S.T., associate professor, candidate of pedagogical science Mutali A.K., associate professor, candidate of pedagogical science Kaliyeva A.B. and secretary, senior lecturer Saliyeva D.O. The commission members noted the informative and well-structured reports of the participants. The diplomas were appointed to the winners based on the approved assessment criteria:
1 place – Akzhunis Akatay and Gulnaz Sagynbay «The effects of culture on foreign language acquisition: intercultural aspect».
2 место – Amina Tassanbi «English Language in the context of world culture».
2 место – Akniet Nugmanova «Intercultural dialogue in the civil society of Kazakhstan».
3 место – Damir Sultanov «Формирование культурного сознания при обучении иностранному языку».
3 место – Roza Sharapatova «Қазақ халқының балаға ат қою мәдениеті»
