On October 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., an open educational online event was held at the university level on the topic “State Anti-Corruption Policy” at the Faculty of International Relations. K.O. Yergalieva, the senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages acted as the moderator of this event. The guest speaker E.E. Nugymanov, the head of the anti-corruption project office "Adep", made an opening speech.
L.A Temirzhanova., retired lieutenant colonel, current lawyer, former prosecutor's office employee, associate professor of the department of theory and history of state and law, candidate of legal sciences and S.B. Nurmagambetova, an associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, made their reports on the state policy in the field of combating corruption. The theoretical part of the reports was accompanied by practical examples from the people’s life in Kazakhstan. Their presentations aroused great interest among the students, who asked the speakers many questions.
Zhanbolat Makhambetov, a fourth-year student of the specialty "international relations" of the IR-43 group, took an active part in the event, independently preparing a presentation on the topic under discussion. The event ended with watching a video about the changes in the anti-corruption policy in Kazakhstan that took place at the beginning of this year.
The purpose of the educational event is to train students in the fight against corruption, point them in the right direction, and educate them in the spirit of patriotism.
The event was organized by senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages - K.O. Yergalieva and A.Kadyskyzy.
The event was attended by students of three groups: fourth-year students of the Faculty of International Relations (group IR-43, R-41) and first-year students of the Faculty of Social Sciences (group Psychology-11). A total of 38 teachers and students participated the open educational online event.
