The session had an informative character and was held offline. During the seminar the difference between terrorism and extremism was explained. The former is a type of political violence that includes the intentional targeting of noncombatants and distinguishes between the direct victims and audience that you want to affect. Therefore, the violence has political nature. Whereas the latter is holding an extreme ideology or belief. Though it is often associated with religious ideology, it really includes any radical belief system.
