On December 8, 2021, a public lecture by Anatoly Bashmakov - honorary citizen of the North Kazakhstan region, doctor of Economics, was held on the basis of M. Kozybayev SSU. Lecture topic: "Kazakhstan's way: lessons of independence".
Anatoly Afanasievich is a well-known public figure of Kazakhstan, a deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the North Kazakhstan region (2002 - 2014), a member of the Standing Committee on Socio-Cultural Development. In the period from 2015 to 2020, he headed the Department of the APK of L.N. Gumilev ENU and was the first head of the Association of APK Departments.
Online participation in the lecture was attended by members of the Association of Departments of the APK, members of the Department of the APK of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, headed by Doctor of Political Sciences Natalia Kalashnikova.
The lecture was devoted to the key aspects of Kazakhstan's Independence, as well as the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev in the formation and development of the state.
