Republican Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from March 27 to March 29, 2019.
Students of Department of Oriental Studies participated in Republican Olympiad by such majors as Chinese Studies, Arabic Studies, Korean Studies, Japanese Studies and Iranian Studies.
3-year students of Arabic Studies, Shadi Arsen won the 1st place, Sagynbek Ayzere the 2nd , while 3-year student of Chinese Studies, Abilkhayrova Ulzhan won 3rd place, and 2-year student of Korean Studies, Toktarbekova Anel won the 3rd . 2-year students of Iranian Studies, Gazizova Aziza and Zhumash Kasymkhan won 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
