PIAC (62ᵑᵈ Annual Meeting).

PIAC 2019 (PIAK 2019), or the "Permanent International Altai Conference", the only international forum of Turkologists, which is ongoing, was held this year in Germany from August 18 to 23, 2019, at the University of Friedensau, which is located near Berlin in the direction of Magdeburg. This year, the 62nd meeting of PIAK was held, and it was dedicated to the "States and Religions of Altai Peoples."On August 18, at the Theological University of Friedens, PIAK General Secretary Barbara Kellner-Heinkele and President of the 62nd meeting Oliver Corff inaugurated the forum, which was welcomed by the rector of the university. The conference was attended by famous scientists from the West and East (Germany, France, Hungary, the USA, Romania, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Japan) who are engaged in research of history, language, religion and culture Turkic and Altai peoples, the study of their written monuments.

The PIAK has its own traditions: on an opening day, by the PIAK medal is awarded for its contribution to the development of altaistics, then each forum participant makes an oral presentation about his scientific research. The Republic of Kazakhstan this year was represented by Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Turkology N.G. Shaimerdinova and Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of General Linguistics and Translation S.Zh. Tazhibaeva. 

Within 5 days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. interesting reports were heard, discussions were held, discussions were held, personal contacts were made. 

 The forum participant was also interested in the report of Professor N.G. Shaymerdinova on the topic: "Tengriism in the life of Turkic peoples". In the course of the discussion, the speaker answered his questions and presented his arguments and arguments.

On the final day of the conference, PIAK reports on publications, updating of the PIAK organizing committee, the procedure for transferring to the next meeting, selection of the country in which the 63rd PIAK conference will be held were heard. As a result of the procedural decisions of the Forum, PIAC 2020 will be held in Mongolia.
