As part of the celebration of the international day of the Arabic language, which is annually celebrated under the auspices of UNESCO on December 18, the Egyptian University of Ain Shams for the first time, together with the Academy of the Arabic language in Cairo, organized a competition among native and non-native speakers of Arabic in several nominations (poetry in literary Arabic - poetry in dialect - lyrics to the song - recitation of poems - short story - writing an article - script and dialogue - novel - theater play). According to the results of this competition, Professor of the Department of Oriental Studies, Doctor of Philology S.A.Tuleubaeva, who presented her article about Egypt to the jury, was recognized as the best among foreigners who speak Arabic.
The award ceremony took place on December 18, 2021 in Cairo. It was attended by the leadership, faculty and students of the University of Ain Shams, prominent state and public figures, incl. Supreme Mufti of Egypt Dr. Shawki Allam.
S.A.Tuleubaeva was awarded a commemorative emblem of the University of Ain Shams, which the rector of the Egyptian university - doctor, professor Mahmud al-Matini presented to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Egypt, Mr. Kairat Kairbekovich Lama Sharif, and her article was publicly read at the festive event. So the name of our country and our university sounded high from the rostrum of one of the leading metropolitan universities of the “country of pyramids”.
