Lecture of visiting professor Sari Yassar

On 24 September, 2018 at the Faculty of International Relations hosted a guest lecture of visiting professor Sari Yassar (University of Suleiman Demirel, Turkey). This event was organized by the Department of International Relations and the Center for International Cooperation

The lecturer in his presentation touched upon the foreign policy of Turkey in Central Asia. The professor mentioned that this policy consists of 3 main periods such as the romantic period of the early 1990s, the idle period - the second half of the 1990s to 2007 and the restructuring and rotation period. This lecture was attended by students, undergraduates and teachers of the Faculty of International Relations. The students showed great interest and asked questions related to Turkey's attempts to enter the European Union, cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
