International scientific-theoretical conference «The history and culture of Eurasian nomads»

Department of Turkology is inviting you to take part in the work International scientific-theoretical conference «The history and culture of Eurasian nomads», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the famous public figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, turkologist, professor Koyshygara Salgarauly

Conference working day:  17-18 May 2019.


Conference thematic areas:


Section 1. History, archeology and ethnography  

Section 2. Diplomacy and politics of the Turkic world

Section 2. Folklore, literature and art

Section 3. Turkic languages in diachrony and synchrony


Conference languages: Kazakh, English, Russian, Turkish

                Duration of reports: in plenary meetings 20 min., in sectional meetings – 15 min.


Conference application, reports should be submitted before 31 March 2019 by email:

1.      Application for participation in the conference (appendix 1).

2.      Report materials (appendix 2).

3.       Scanned payment receipt of publication (appendix 3)


              Notification of the author (conference participant) of the adoption of his report - until April 15, 2019. Papers accepted after review will be published by the beginning of the conference. Absentee participation with the publication of materials is provided.

The organizational fee of the conference participant:

The registration fee in the amount of 4000 tenge for Kazakhstan participants, $ 30 for participants from CIS countries and $ 50 from non-CIS countries should be transferred by wire transfer before the conference. Payment is made through branches of Sberbank of Russia JSC (Astana city) to Assyl Imanbayeva’s account, whose bank details are given below (Appendix 3). This amount includes the cost of one copy of the collection (regardless of the number of authors).


Travel expenses at the expense of the sending party or participants of the conference.
