Cultural event "31 years of independence" was held at the faculty of International Relations

December 5, 2022 at 14:00 (main building, room 303) a cultural event on the theme "31 years of Independence" was held at the Faculty of International Relations of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

Independence is the unshakable pillar of the nation, language, traditions, customs, the golden rod, the strength and the star of the people. In 1991, this is the year when the country first entered the whole world under the name of Kazakhstan. It has been 31 years since that moment. The purpose of this event:

   - To show the heroism of our ancestors on the way to independence of our country, to show students an example of older brothers and sisters who took part in the December events.

   - To instill love and feelings of young people for their native country.

   - To cultivate love for your country, land, respect for the Motherland, sincerity.

Visual aids: interactive whiteboard, slide, games, expressive poetry reading, solo singing and two group choirs.

This cultural event was attended by teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages and 1st year students of the FIR: FPh-1 (Foreign Philology), IR-1 (International Relations), MA-1 (Media Art), as well as groups of PEU-13 (Preschool education and Upbringing) of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The event was organized by the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the FIR Kadyskyzy A. and Amrenova A.N.

The curtain of the event was opened by students of IR-1 and FPh (FIR) and MA-1 (FSS). After sharing the prepared slides "Review of achievements for 31 years", we continued with the game, singing and chorus.  The PEU-13 group continued further, performing with the a group song prepared by them, a poem and the song "Tugan el". 

The students received a lot of information about this solemn day, which is the beginning of freedom, achievements over the 31 years of independence and the youth policy pursued by the government to support and develop competitive youth.
