On April 12 in the framework of the international youth scientific conference "Science and Education - 2019" the subsection "Problems of European integration and diplomacy" was held at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU.
The subsection was organized according to the plan of the project “Jean Monnet. Chair of "European Diplomacy"" at the Faculty of International Relations. The subsection was attended by students of all levels: undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. In their reports, presentations, participants raised various questions on European topics. There were interesting speeches on European countries’ foreign policy, common foreign policy, cyber security and public diplomacy of the EU. An exchange of views on resolving crisis situations and sanctions policy took place.
As the result of the conference, a wish was expressed to make the work of this subsection a tradition, to continue to study and discuss European topics in the framework of the “Friends of Europe” club in the future.
