September 9, 2021 within the framework of the Council of the Faculty of International Relations of the Eurasian National University L.N.Gumilyov, with the participation of the teaching staff, the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan “The unity of the people and systemic reforms is a solid foundation of prosperity” was discussed.
The meeting was attended by the dean of the faculty Miras Makhmedinovich Kosybaev, deputy deans, heads of departments and faculty. Presentations were made by Professor of the Department of Turkology, PhD Amantai Zharylkasynovich Sharip, Professor of the Department of International Relations Amirzhan Kairovich Alpeisov, Professor of Local History Kalybek Ibragimovich Kobylandin.
Scientists who took part in the discussion of the Address shared their views, noting the main socio-economic tasks of the country’s development in the future, a number of new initiatives and policies aimed at increasing the welfare and economic growth of citizens. The teaching staff of the Faculty of International Relations also paid special attention to the requirements for the quality of higher education. After analyzing in detail the seven areas touched upon in the Address, he positively assessed it as a critical message that can clearly define the direction of the state.
The faculty staff called on the people of Kazakhstan to support the Message, noting that every effort will be made to recognize the Republic of Kazakhstan in the international arena as a developed, reliable, stable, authoritative, peace-loving country.
