INNOVATIONS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION

A methodical seminar  “Innovations in the development of higher education. Modern methods and educational technologies” was held in the main building of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in room 303 on November 4, 2017.   The teachers who attended qualification upgrading course at Omsk State Pedagogical University from June 19 to June 26, 2017 took part in the seminar.

Azmukhanova AM,  head of  the  Chair of International Relations, Abisheva M.M,  Deputy Dean on scientific work  made a presentation on “Analysis of possible cooperation between Kazakhstani and foreign universities” and Yessentemirova  AM, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​made a report on “Practical examples of e-learning implementation”.

The purpose of the seminar was to intensify the process of introducing advanced teaching experience and innovative teaching technologies into the educational activity of the university.

The seminar had  4 modules. Modules of the seminar are the following:

Training module №1: “Foreign experience of applying innovations in the development of higher education”, 303 room.

Moderator – Deputy Rector for academic work  Moldazhanova AA;

Training module №2: “Modern didactic teaching technologies”, 302 room. Moderator  - director of the department for academic issues Palimbetov Sh.B.;

Training module №3: “Innovative technologies of teaching and methods of teaching at the Technical University of Dortmund”  332 room.

 Moderator - head of the department of teaching and methodical work Kuangaliyeva TK;

Training module №4: “Use of IT technologies in educational process, management, research and development”, 317  room.

Moderator - deputy director of the department for academic issues Nurmukhametov NN.

The seminar was attended by deans, heads of departments, academic staff and representatives of administrative personnel.

At the end of the event, certificates of successful completion were awarded to teachers who passed the qualification upgrading course in Omsk from 19 – 26 June, 2017.
