Associate Professor of International Relations Department Nurdavletova S.M. in the period from May 11 to 14, 2022 took part in the international conference “The Completion of Eurasia?”, which was held at the University of Le Havre (France). S.M. Nurdavletova’s topic of the report was dedicated to "China's "BRI Soft Power" towards Kazakhstan and other neighbors as a means to enhance regional security". The issues of development of trade and economic cooperation between China and the states of Central Asia, China's image in the Central Asian countries, China's "soft power" in Kazakhstan, as well as the One Belt - One Road initiative and the role of Central Asia, which is one of the key regions of this project were touched upon. The conference was attended by representatives of France, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, China, Poland, Hungary, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mongolia and others. The event was held at a high level, the information was published in the Pakistani newspaper Islamabadpost. As a result of the conference, it is planned to publish an edition in the publishing house Peter Lang, which is included in the Scopus database.
