April 28, 2022 at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in honor of May 1 - the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, a concert-exhibition was organized with the participation of foreign students on the topic: "Let's get acquainted!". The "Eastern Spring" holiday, which is annually celebrated at the Faculty of International Relations, was held as part of this event, where students of the educational program "Oriental Studies" sang songs in Chinese, Japanese, danced Korean national, modern dances. Foreign teachers working at the faculty - Vildan Onjul, Zofia Siraki, Alvaro Marcos introduced the audience to the culture of the Turkish, Hungarian and Spanish peoples.
The event, organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the University, was actively attended by students of the faculty with academic mobility from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan.
The event was held on the site near the main building of ENU, under the scorching sun. The purpose of the concert-exhibition is to involve foreign students of the university in the event, to get acquainted with the national traditions and customs of each country. On the eve of the holiday, the Department of International Cooperation, the Department of International Relations, the Department of Oriental Studies of the Faculty of International Relations and several cultural and language centers located within the walls of the university took part in the successful and high-quality holding of the event.
