October 17, 2017 in the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University was organized a chess competition for the Dinara Saduakasova Cup among the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As a result, first master course student Alpysbaev Rustam from the Department of Turkic Studies, Faculty of International Relations became one of the best and was awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.
As you remember, the club "Dinara Saduakasova" was founded in 2014, and since then the international tournament for the Grandmaster Cup has been held. This year students from a number of universities across the country took part in the tournament.
The aim of the event is to promote and expand the chess game in the country and promote healthy lifestyles.
