Young Scientists’ Council

Young Scientists’ Council has been working successfully at the Faculty of International Relations for several years. Young scientist, candidate of the Political Science and the associate professor of the International Relations Department Aigerim Zh.Turkhanova had led the Council of the International Relations Faculty from January 2012. Moreover, she served as the Chair of the Young Scientists’ Council of  L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University from September 2013 till April 2016. Under her leadership Young Scientists’ Council of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University had received the title “The Best Young Scientists’ Council” in accordance with the assessment of the Fund of the first President of Kazakhstan. In 2017-2018 academic year, in order to renew the Young Scientists’ Council the three young scientists have been selected among the several scientist, who were recommended by the Departments of the International Relations Faculty. Here is the more detailed information on them:

Aizada K. Nuriddenova

 Aizada K. Nuriddenova is a Lecturer at the Department of Oriental Studies, Faculty of International Relations, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and holds PhD in International Relations. She received her B.A. from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on Regional Studies. In 2010, A.K. Nuriddenova had won a Chinese Government Scholarship and during 2010-2012 studied at M.A. program at Jilin University of China on International Relations. In 2012, she had been awarded a Chinese Government Scholarship a second time and had graduated from the same university with PhD in International Relations in 2015.  A.K. Nuriddenova has been taking part in various international scientific-practical conferences within the ENU. Moreover, she has participated in international conferences abroad as well. For instance, in 22-23 September 2016, A.K. Nuriddenova has presented her paper at the international conference titled “Contemporary issues of the post-Soviet region” which was held at Kazimierz Wielki University in Poland. By the same token, she had the opportunity to teach M.A. students of Regional Studies at Allameh Tabataba’i University in Iran the two courses on “International Organizations in Central Asia and Caucasus” and “Cultural Features of Central Asia and Caucasus”.  A.K. Nuriddenova’s research interests include: the processes of integration in post-Soviet region and Central Asia, foreign policy of China, China-Central Asian relations. She has published several articles on these topics. 

Gulden S. Kaskarbayeva

 Gulden S. Kaskarbayeva is the Instructor at the Department of Turkology and holds B.A. in 5B020900 - Oriental Studies and 5B030100 – Jurisprudence, M.A. in 6M020500 – Philology: Turkic languages. She is the participant of the “Summer School on Turkish Language” which is organized by Yunus Emre Institute. G.S. Kaskarbayeva has studied at Kocaeli University on the basis of the academic mobility program. She is the participant of the scientific project titled “Interaction of Turkic Languages and Cultures in post-Soviet Kazakhstan”.

G.S. Kaskarbayeva’s dissertation title is “Ethnocultural Features of Minority  Turkic Peoples in Kazakhstan”. During 5-17 November 2014, she did her research fellowship at Szeged University in Hungary.

G.S.Kaskarbayeva is the author of analytical papers on interethnic cultural relations and intentional links as well as the scientific papers on the field of Turkology. In 2016, she has been awarded with the certificate of merit for her contribution to the development of the education system. In September 2016, G.S. Kaskarbayeva became an Instructor at the Department of Turkology. During December 1, 2015 – September 15, 2017 she worked as the head of the Security Department at the Institute of Contemporary Studies, during November 9, 2015 – December 1, 2015 she served as the leading researcher. Her scientific interests include: Turkology, Turkic world, foreign and domestic policy of Kazakhstan.

Anuar K.Alkeyev

 Anuar K.Alkeyev is an expert, historian and a lecturer of history. He graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University with a M.A. academic degree.  A.K. Alkeyev focuses on exploring the main aspects of international relations, the international legal settlement of contemporary regional conflicts and studying the international and regional security factors. Starting from 2017 he is studying at PhD program on International Relations major. During 2011 till now A.K. Alkeyev has worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, 2007-2011 as an Instructor at the Faculty of International Relations, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. He has been awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the rector of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Y.B. Sydykov for his contribution in implementing policy of ENU in professional practice of the students. In 2016,  A.K. Alkeyev was awarded with a Letter of Appreciation from the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations A.N. Zholdasbekova for his contribution in training the future specialists and for cultivating patriotic characteristics in students; in 2012 he received a Letter of Appreciation from the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations B.Zh. Somzhurek; in 2009 he received a certificate of merit from the rector of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University B.Zh. Abdyraiym; in 2009 he was awarded a diploma on the nomination of “Openness in the field of education” and for the achievements in socially educational work.
