12.11.2020 at the Foreign Languages Department of International Relations Faculty, the senior lecturer Kulakhmetova Zh.T. conducted a webinar on the topic: "Syllabus as a means of organizing students' independent work"
The purpose of this event was to acquaint the newly arrived lecturers of the department with the structure, content and requirements for the compilation of syllabus.
Syllabus is one of the effective means of organizing classroom lessons and independent work of students. It includes a description of the subject, its goals and objectives, topics, assignments for independent work, assessment criteria, etc.
At the beginning of the semester, syllabuses for each discipline are placed on the educational portal of the university (Platonus), which are freely available for each student. This successfully optimizes the collaborative activity of the lecturer and the student, increasing the level of course mastering through accessibility.
The lecturers of the department took an active part in the webinar, asked the questions about the content and structure of the work program.
