On February 19, 2021, an expanded online meeting of the editorial board of the journal "Turkic Studies" of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, which was attended by prominent scholars of Turkic studies. The meeting began with a minute of silence in memory of a Turkologist, a member of the editorial board of the journal, Doctor of History, Professor D.D. Vasilieva (Russian Federation). Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation G.T. Merzadinova. Executive Secretary of the journal "Turkic Studies" Doctor of Philosophy, Professor N.G. Shaimerdinova summed up the first fruitful results of the journal's work, which delighted all the participants in the meeting. The magazine has its own website, publication languages: Kazakh, English, Russian. At the moment, 35 articles of prominent scholars of Turkology have already been published. With wishes and suggestions were made by: Doctor of History I.L. Kyzlasov (RF), Ph.D. MIND. Bakhtikireeva (RF). Deputy chief editor, Doctor of Philosophy I.A. Nevskaya (Germany) and deputy. chief editor, Doctor of Philosophy Sh. Ibraev (Kazakhstan) thanked the meeting participants for their valuable suggestions.
