Online lecture of Japan's Ambassodor to Kazakhstan

The lecture “Economic Aspects of Japan’s Foreign Policy” of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Mr. Kasai Tatsuhiko was organized by the Faculty of International Relations in the frameworks of the project “Guest of the Council of Young Scientists of ENU”. The online lecture was held on December 24 on Microsoft Teams platform. The participants were the Dean of the FIR A.M. Essengaliyeva, Deputy Dean of FIR Akhmetzhanova L.K., Head of the International Relations Department Akhmedyanova D.K., teachers, undergraduates and PhD students of the faculty. The topic of the lecture was relevant and aroused interest. In addition, one of the 3rd year PhD students, Uteuliyeva G.K. is currently working on a dissertation on Japanese foreign policy.

The Ambassador spoke about the modern realities of Japan's foreign economic policy, about the country's participation in regional organizations. At the end of the lecture the participants asked questions to Mr. Kasai.
