Lecturers of the Faculty of International Relations Participated in the International Forum “Unity in Diversity: Kazakhstan and International Experience”

On October 31, 2019, Kunsulu O. Yergaliyeva and Aigul Kadyskyzy, Foreign Languages Department lecturers ​​of International Relations Faculty, took part in the international forum of scientists and experts called "Unity in Diversity: Kazakhstan and International Experience", dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, held in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan).

The Assembly of People of Kazakhstan is an advisory body under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; its task is to implement the national policy, ensure social and political stability in Kazakhstan and increase the efficiency of cooperation between state institutions and civil society in the field of interethnic relations. The APK was established on March 1, 1995 and was called the "Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan", it was renamed in 2007. The right to head the Assembly belongs to the initiator of its creation - the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Leader of the nation, Nazarbayev N.A.

The purpose of the forum is to summarize the results of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan within 10 years; to discuss various issues of preservation of unity, development of national cultures, languages ​​and traditions of Kazakhstan in multiethnic society.

Within the framework of the program "Spiritual Renewal", the participants in the forum discussed ways to strengthen social cohesion, national unity and to enhance friendly relations between the peoples of Kazakhstan.

Chairman of the SAB of the APK A.K. Sadvokassova, Deputy Chairman of the SAB of the APK Zh.K. Tuimebaev, members of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, representatives of foreign scientists and government agencies, representatives of higher education institutions and universities took part in the forum.

The participants thanked the organizers for successfully organizing the interesting and useful event.
