On February 28, took place the award ceremony for the winners of the 2018 “Best University Teacher” competition. Every year about 500 applicants from more than 80 republican higher educational institutions apply for participation in the competition for the best teacher. In 2018, only 200 people won the title of the best university teacher in the country. Professor of the Department of Regional Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences Tashtemkhanova Rayhan Muhamedyanovna became the winner of the competition. Together with the title, the teacher gets the opportunity to undergo an internship with the aim of training in the best universities in the world, as well as to conduct scientific and research work. At the heart of the competition was the scientific and pedagogical work of teachers, which was evaluated on such indicators as:
- development, participation and publication of textbooks, monographs, textbooks in English
- availability of a certificate of successful completion of training on the course on the basis of a platform of mass open online courses in a foreign language on professional activities
- educational and educational work with students, etc.
