Lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Internaional Relations A. Mutali and A. Kadyskyzy held an event "Great Steppe Thinkers: Al Farabi and Abai"

We can broaden our horizons by reading research articles in the media about the great thinkers Abu Nasr al-Farabi and Abai. Great people were born and shined like bright stars in the sky, illuminating the human mind. They are like precious stones on the seabed. It is clear that not everyone will dive to the bottom of the sea to get pearls, and not everyone will be able to reach the stars! Yes, we know that wise Abu Nasr al-Farabi and great Abai are an invaluable gift of the past millennium. It is important to make good use of their thoughts, probably because they are filled with mystical magic.

Today, among the younger generation there are few eager to study works of art and literature, their number, unfortunately, is decreasing. And therefore, it is especially gratifying that, despite this sad tendency, we still have young people who love to read and understand the ideas of the works of the great scientist and thinker of Asia, al-Farabi and Abai, compare their works, get positive impressions and knowledge, which then use it in their life.
