Research internship of master students of ENU on the basis of University of Szeged

From November 23 to December 2, 2017 2-year master students of the Turkology Department of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University M. Abilkasym, M. Amanova, S. Kenjemuratova, S. Mussina passed a scientific internship at the University of Szeged (Szeged, Hungary).

The purpose of the scientific internship is to raise the level of theoretical and practical knowledge, exchange of experience, to collect information on the topic of master students’ theses, and to strengthen intercultural ties.

Nowadays, University of Szeged is one of the leading and largest universities in Hungary, which provides education to students and scientific research in almost all branches of science in English. There is a huge library with more than 1.5 million prints and electronic publications, as well as a modern computer center to help students for their successful education.

On the first day of the internship master students met with Professor of the department Altaic studies of University of Szeged Raushangul Mukusheva which familiarized with the main activities of the department, and organized a meeting with the teaching staff of the department.

As part of the master students’ internship program, research was carried out at the SZTE TIK Central Library on topics of their theses.

The head of the Department of Altaic Studies, Professor Istvan Zimoniy, held consultations on the themes of master's theses.

In addition, master students took part in a round table with students of University of Szeged on the theme: "Prospects of development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Hungary".

The master students express their gratitude to the faculty, the head of the departments of the Eurasian National University and the University of Szeged for the opportunity to undergo a research internship.

A certificate confirming the successful completion of the internship was handed to the master students.
