A webinar was held at the Department of Oriental Studies on the topic "Scientific Research Methods on Actual Problems of Orientalism"

On April 24, a scientific webinar was held at the chair of Department of Oriental Studies, Faculty of International Relations on the theme: "Scientific Research Methods on Actual Problems of Orientalism", which was prepared by the candidate of Historical sciences, Azmuhanova Ayman Mahsotovna. Professors from other departments, students and undergraduates, apart from the professorship and teaching staff of the Department of Oriental Studies  attended the webinar.

At the beginning of the webinar, Ayman Mahsotovna settled on the Webinar's objective. She noted that the main objective of the webinar was to analyse the methods used in scientific research on oriental science in terms of new approaches. The report raised three main issues: “Core stages of scientific research on topical Oriental issues”, “Features of the East in Classification of Scientific Research Methods”, “Collection of research methods for cultural and historical and regional features” and analysed the basic methods and forms of Oriental Studies, conceptual approaches to studying the East.

At the end of the webinar, issues were discussed and young teachers and undergraduates askedquestions, also advices were given on their scientific directions.
