Turkic Studies Department gave a scientific-methodical seminar

On December 14, the Turkic Studies Department gave a scientific-methodical seminar. Желтоқсанның 14-күні түркітану кафедрасының  ғылыми-әдістемелік семинары өтті. At the seminar chaired by the professor N.G. Shaimerdinova professors and other seminar participants discussed the topical issues of Turkic studies, lecturers attended a course of professional advancement in Russia and foreign professors made reports.

PhD, Associated professor of the Ardakhan university of Turkey Samet Azap Bey made a report on “Analyses of stories of Tolegen Kasymbekov”. Professor Samet Azap presented the stories of T. Kasymbekov as a historical work based on real historical events and historical figures, which depicts the life Kirgiz people by comparing with archival materials.

Professor of the Turkic Studies Department Sh. Ibrayev made a report on “Contribution of nomadic society to the development of world culture”, in which he explained and referred to facts about the contribution of the cognitive, practical and progressive works of nomadic society to the world culture and challenged views of European and soviet scholars about nomads.   

PhD, Associated professor of the department A. Shaldarbekova shared her theoretical-practical knowledge and experience, taken during the internship with the teaching staff, master and doctoral students in a report on “An Internship in Omsk: modern technologies in educational process”. In her report she presented and brought a focus on approaches of new teaching technologies of a professor of Cologne University Hendrik den Ouden.
