An online seminar on the topic «Semantics of ancient Turkic written symbols» was held at the Department of Turkology

     November 30, 2020 at the Faculty of International Relations of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian University hosted an online seminar on the topic "Semantics of Ancient Turkic Written Symbols", which was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Turkology, Moldabay Talgat.

 

 

   The report presented the results of semantic analysis of graphemes of symbols, focusing on the origin of the ancient Türkic writing, the monuments of which are a priceless treasure left to us by our ancestors.

 

 

 

 

     It turned out that these symbols are closely related to the worldview of this ethnic group. The place of ancient Türkic writing in the world culture is estimated. This aroused great interest among the participants.

 

 

     The webinar was attended by many professors, students and undergraduates interested in Turkic studies. At the end of the webinar, the lecturer was asked many questions and exchanged views.
